Lakeside Cottage
Number of bedrooms: 3, sleeps 8 Number of bathrooms: 2 Appliances and furnishings: refrigerator, stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, washer/dryer, telephone, stereo, satellite, VCR, television, and barbeque. Please bring your own linens. Upon request linens will be provided for an additional charge. Lakeside is a newly renovated, three-bedroom cottage located on Bass Lake. The main cottage has two bedrooms on the upper level, as well as a den in the lower level, with a pull-out couch. All bedrooms have queen-sized beds. The main cottage has a bathroom with a large bathtub with a separate stand-up shower. From one of the upstairs bedrooms you are able to walk out on the balcony for a beautiful view of Bass Lake. Walk out to the lake from a delightful lower-level Muskoka room, which is screened in to keep the bugs out in the spring. The Master Suite is a separate small cottage near but not joined to the larger cottage. It has one king-sized bed, a gas fireplace, a mini fridge, toaster, and microwave. The loft has a single mattress. A two-piece bathroom is located in the Master Suite, but it can only be used in the summer. Both cottages are connected by a large deck overlooking Bass Lake. Winter is especially fabulous! With its fireplace, cedar interior, and comfortable furniture, the cozy ambiance makes a welcome retreat after a day in the snow. Speaking of snow, there is something for everybody: Hop onto your snowmobile for some of the best snowmobile trails, found at the end of the road, a short distance away. If downhill skiing is your thing, it's only a 40-minute drive to Moonstone for ski fun. Or you can enjoy cross-country skiing -- there are many ski areas locally. For a lovely after-ski dinner, the popular Bass Lake Restaurant is only five minutes away from the cottage -- they're known for great food and atmosphere.
